fun facts about the pandas: 1: there are only about 1,600 to 3,000 pandas left in the wild, while there are about 8 to 9 billion of us! 2: in a pandas typical day, he/she spends half the day sleeping, and the other half eating! 3: giant pandas can see clearly at night, as they have the same pupils as cats.
in tune with animals is a website about saving endangered species, bit by bit. our first project is to save the giant panda of China. My friend Dora and I have raised 52 dollars, with an ultimate goal of one thousand. we both love these sweet gentle giants, a gift of Nature. our next project will be to save the amazing polar bear, an artic dweller in need of help from our species just as much as pandas do. if you choose to donate to pandas international.org, keep in your minds that all money goes to pandas, the sweet, cuddly, gifts of mother nature!
